About Us

Mission

Pamakid Runners’ mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle and support the running community and charitable causes by organizing, volunteering, and participating in running-related and social events in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Inclusivity

Pamakid Runners welcomes runners of all abilities, ages, races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Our club thrives by and celebrates diversity and inclusivity. The Pamakid Runners Club was founded in 1971 with the express goal of including women and children at a time when women in particular were barred from racing.

Today, we build upon this history, and we are committed to providing a community atmosphere where all runners have a safe and fulfilling path towards wellness, and where everyone is treated with respect.

What we do

We race. We have fun. We support our community. That’s what Pamakids is all about. Check out our Racing Teams, learn all about the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon and our charitable giving, and see some of the fun stuff we do.
